Paint Correction & Surface Prep

Service Description

This is the heavy "work" phase for every full ceramic (and graphene) application. It is priced according to the size and type of vehicle as this cost is proportional to how much total surface preparation and material requirements are necessary. In addition to this service, please select which exterior coating you are seeking (options in "Services" include ceramic, graphene or full synthetic polymer protection). While the "Exterior Paint Correction" service is inclusive of all the necessary preparation steps, it does not include the price of the actual coating. The exterior paint correction consists of five steps* in preparation for the finish coating of your preference. This includes the following: decontamination wash, clay bar treatment, iron oxides remover, paint correction (machine light compounding and cutting to remove light scratches, swirl marks, stains/etchings into clear coat and oxidation), polishing (using an adhesion promoter polish) and/or "panel prep" (surfactant solution with isopropyl alcohol). At this point, the vehicle paint will be as pristine as necessary to accept and chemically bond with the coating of your choice. * additional steps may be required when advanced paint deterioration is identified which requires more aggressive machine compounding (aka "cutting") to remove deeply embedded imperfections.
